Hospice Care
Story = I received a phone call telling me that one of my best friends was
in the hospital, not doing so well but talking , I call the hospital and talk
to him. He told me that he was doing Ok but could not eat we talk about
how long he thinks he would be in there and he was going to have
surgery on his neck, I told him I would call him after he gets out to see
how he was doing. My friend never woke up after surgery he went in to
a coma, the doctor said that he was full of cancer and he was taken to a
hospice care. We've been friends for 35 years, he never once told me
how sick he was. I was mad and hurt how could he do this to me, not
once thinking about what he was going through all these years
knowing he had cancer, not asking friends for help, what could I have
done for him. I will never forgive my slef for not going to see him in the
hospital, every time I think of him , I feel a pain around my heart.
